Sharon Kaasalainen

Assistant Professor - McMaster University School of Nursing, and Associate member of the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster.

She teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, and is a member of the Graduate Program Curriculum Innovation Committee. Her top three research interests are pain management in long-term care, medication use in older adults, and advanced practice nursing roles in long-term care. She is also involved in a funded research project on medication management for older adults with dementia.
