Pam McGrath

Senior Research Fellow (NH and MRC) in the International Program for Psycho-Social Health Research at Central Queensland University, Australia.

In 1999, she was named Eminent Scientist of the Year by the International Research Promotion Council, and she received in 2000 the University Award for Outstanding Contribution. Her primary area of research is health (allied health providers and services), and Aboriginal and Indigenous issues. She has expertise in oversees trained doctors, international medical graduates, the lived experience including the human experience of health and serious illness, bioethics, social justice, health policy, decision making, palliative care, spirituality, haematology/leukaemia, paediatrics, mental health, birth, obstetrics, Aboriginal peoples, and rural and remote health.
