Donna Goodridge

Associate Professor in the Faculty of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Saskatchewan; where she teaches in the Nurse Practitioner program. She holds a CIHR/RPP New Investigator Award.

Her research interests are health services utilization and quality of care in chronic illness, unmet needs in the home care setting, and knowledge translation. She has a special interest in chronic lung conditions and lung failure (particularly COPD or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – a condition that will increasingly become a cause of death globally, with it now the 4th most common cause of death in Canada).

She is Chair of the Canadian Respiratory Health Professional Research Group, Co-Chair of the Canadian COPD Alliance, and is a board member serving a number of health and NGO organizations.
