Daren Heyland

Professor of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at Queens University and a critical care physician at the Kingston General Hospital, Kingston Ontario; as well as Director of the Canadian Researchers at End of Life Network (CARENET) based at the Kingston General Hospital.

He is a prolific researcher and author, whose interests are focused on end of life care as well as other critical care topics and methodological topics dealing with randomized trials, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, outcomes assessments, economic evaluations, and quality of life assessments.
